The journey began fifteen years ago, and now time has run out. I am currently at End Stage Liver Failure and am on the liver transplant list, waiting for a donor. I was diagnosed with Primary Biliary Cholangitis, an autoimmune disease, in 2008, after receiving shocking results from a blood test. The prediction was that I would need a liver transplant within ten years. I’ve far outlived the predictions, but now my body is failing quickly. I’m still working as a Therapist, but I’m experiencing new symptoms everyday. This platform is my attempt to document the journey and hold onto hope for myself and others who may be experiencing something similar. I am a believer and know that God has a plan for my life.
